How to spot a fake helpline number
Scammers in Pakistan often post fake numbers on Google, Facebook and OLX pretending to be a bank, EasyPaisa agent or NADRA. Always cross-check the number on the brand’s official website (look for an https URL and a verified company domain). Banks and wallets never ask for your CNIC PIN, full card number, or OTP on a phone call. If anyone demands a small “verification fee” to release a refund, hang up. Report scam numbers to the PTA complaint portal or dial 1991 (FIA Cyber Crime).

Helpline ke baad agar 7-10 din mein reply na aaye to brand ka complaint portal use karein. Phir bhi koi response nahi to regulator (SBP/PTA) ke pas escalate karein.
